Jocelyne Danchick
Arts & Wellness
Jocelyne graduated with a master's degree in dance from UC Irvine in 1987. Her dance career spans 3 decades in both the U.S. and Europe. In 2012, she returned to graduate school to study Mental Health Counseling at NM Highlands University and has been a licensed psychotherapist for over 10 years, working with children, families and adults.
As a choreographer and psychotherapist, she works at the intersection of movement, healing and creative collaboration. She creates spaces-- whether on stage, in an art gallery or out in nature, where people can move, reflect, connect and renew.
Sovereign Hilltop is her home and creative base. To her, it is a living, breathing place where we explore how principles of regeneration - like seasonal rhythms, mutual support, healthy soil and biodiversity, can shape not just how we farm, but how we create, relate and grow togehter. This hands-on , land-based way of life deeply informs her personal and professional perspectives.
