Kellie is currently working at a horse barn doing afternoon chores—a perfect fit after years of riding and taking authentic horsemanship clinics with Margaret Beeman. Before that, she spent four decades in bookkeeping after studying at Dutchess Community College, and now she balances barn work with being a caregiver for a couple of family members. She also fosters kittens of all ages as a side passion, especially the newborns who need round-the-clock care. Life is busy, a little messy, and full of animals and nature—just the way Kellie likes it.
